All ages are welcome to learn belly dance. Established group lessons are for those between 16 and 106, or so. Though I often teach younger students at parties and in private lessons. 

old? young? small? big? inexperienced?  NO! This dance is for every body! 

  Nope! You don’t.  If you have never taken a dance class before, I’ll get you started! 

  If there is room in the class, a single class may be purchased for $28, payable online or in class with exact change or Venmo. Though I've outlined the benefits of signing up for a session below! 

1) If you sign up at least a week in advance there is a significant discount for the session. 

2) The lessons are designed around the goals of those signed up for the entire session so we can build and expand throughout the series 

3) If you decide you want to attend another night of classes, you can drop in for the same per class rate you paid for the session. For example, if you purchased a session of classes at $20 per class, you can drop into a another night of class during that month for just an additional $20. 

4) Class emails with additional resources are provided to those signing up for a session

5) The community  built among students coming week after week is a huge benefit <3 

 Something that’s allows freedom of movement and makes you feel beautiful. Perhaps leggings and a fitted top. The dance is best done barefoot or in dance shoes. Socks are ok too! 

Yes!  In many instances I can give adaptations in standard group classes, though there are times when group classes are not the ideal fit and it is more effective and physically safe to form a separate class or learn in private lessons. But is an especially great dance form for students with limitations. There are many ways to adapt this dance form, even to those who need to stay seated.  Please reach out to Amalia to discuss any specific concerns. 

While I cannot offer refunds or credits, if you have signed up for a session, you can make up a missed class on another night in the same month. Keep in mind this is only applicable to classes held at the Broomall location! Classes held through Main Line School Night, Haverford Township Adult School, and other programs have their own policies.
